Artist's Comments

Part of my art assignment :)
I carved out picture with a cutter on lino (took me a day and a half :P), and then rolled ink on it with a roller, and printed it with a press. then i coloured it in with watercolour pencils, though i didnt add water cos i couldnt be bothered. :D
Hope you like ^^

Roadsigns, flowers, numbers, letters, words are images borrowed from artists such as Shane Cotton, Nicky Foreman, Cynthia Taylor - had to add those in for part of the print to pass.

Lol I didn't colour it in and print it :P I printed it and then coloured in the white with coloured pencils :D ;)

We are doing the same thing, except in wood and we don't have to colour them and the wood is so hard haha. Mine's not so good. Oh well.
I really like the colours too <3

Sounds fun in wood ... we had to use boring lino... ><
Wood sounds hard to carve though.. Aww good luck.. just keep scratching away lol (at the wood lol :P ) Mannnn that sounds weird. :lol:

Mm I think the wood is harder to do but I suppose it's easier to slip when cutting the lino?
